Open call for paintings and drawings

Join a professional artist in creating a huge 3D character!
Eligibility: Elementary school students in Sapporo
Application method: Download the flyer and send a painting or drawing drawn on the prescribed place of that flyer by post.
Mailing address: Sapporo Art Stage Section, Sapporo Cultural Arts Community Center, Sapporo Community Plaza 2F, Kita 1-jo Nishi 1-chome, Chuo-ku, Sapporo, 060-0001
Deadline: Applications must arrive by November 5 (Thu.).

Online Workshop 1

Create a photo collage!
Dates: October 3 (Sat.) and 4 (Sun.), for about one hour from 13:00
Eligibility: Elementary school students with a parent or guardian
Capacity: 20 per session
Requirements: Participants must be able to use Zoom and take photos using a digital camera, smartphone, etc.
Instructor: Erika Kusumi (photographer & artist)

Online Workshop 2

Join a professional musician in composing music and having fun!
Dates: October 17 (Sat.) and 18 (Sun.), for about one hour from 13:00
Eligibility: Elementary school students with a parent or guardian
Capacity: 15 per session
Requirements: Participants must be able to use Zoom.
Instructor: Junichi Oguro (sound artist)

Online Workshop 3

Create original characters!
Date: October 25 (Sun.), for about one hour from 10:00 and 13:00
Eligibility: Elementary school students with a parent or guardian
Capacity: 30 per session
Requirements: Participants must be able to use Zoom.
Instructor: Mikio Saito (artist)

To join a workshop, apply by sending an e-mail to the Sapporo Art Stage Office.

Applications will be accepted from 12:30 on September 23 (Wed.) on a first-come, first-served basis.
